Shared Stories alumna, Anna Cerreto (2009) has collaborated with a community organisation in Kenya to write and produce the book I Am Because We Are, Stories of Kibera's Youth. The book brings together the inspirational stories of 10 young people living in Kibera, Kenya, the largest urban slum in Africa. I Am Because We Are aims to break down stereotypes about poverty by sharing true hopes, fears and realities of these remarkable young people. |
